Where do tours depart from?All tours leave from the North/West part of Oceanside Harbor, CA. You’ll receive detailed directions and parking information after booking.

What happens if the weather is bad?Your safety is our top priority. If we need to cancel due to weather or rough seas, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or issue a full refund.

What can I expect to see on the tour?Depending on the season, you might see gray whales, humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions, and a variety of seabirds. Each tour is led by a marine biologist captain, offering expert insight into the local marine life and ecosystem.

How long is the tour?Our standard whale watching tour is approximately 90 minutes long.

Will I get seasick?Most guests do fine, but if you’re prone to motion sickness, you may want to take non-drowsy medication about 30–60 minutes before departure.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?Unfortunately, our current vessel is not wheelchair accessible. If you have specific mobility needs, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Is the boat safe for kids?Absolutely! Our vessel is US Coast Guard-inspected and kid-friendly. Children under 13 must wear provided life jackets at all times while onboard.

How many people are on each tour?We offer small group tours with a maximum of 6 guests to ensure an intimate and personalized experience.

What should I bring on the tour?We recommend wearing layers, and bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a camera. Light snacks and bottled water are also allowed.
